Leslie Abrahams - Physiotherapy

Leslie Abrahams

Leslie qualified with honours in 1998 from the University of Cape Town. He has worked in Private Practice both in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He has a special interest in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, lumbo-pelvic stability dysfunction and lower limb biomechanics. He has previously worked and travelled with high-level athletes in the field of cycling and volleyball.

Leslie has post-graduate qualifications in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Sports Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy and has completed full training in Pilates through the APPI Method.

Leslie is also an international presenter for the APPI.

Ellen Ernstzen - Physiotherapy

Ellen Ernstzen

Ellen is a Chartered Physiotherapist with 14 years clinical experience. After training as a physiotherapist at the University of East London, graduating in 1996, Ellen worked in the NHS for over five years before entering Private Practice. She is also certified as a Pilates practitioner with Polestar Pilates in 2003. Recently completing her MSc in Physiotherapy and passing with distinction, Ellen now has special interests in low back pain, tendinopathy and exercise. Further Pilates training completed by Ellen includes women's health, osteoporosis, back care and fitness screening.

She has also completed post graduate training in Acupunture for pain relief.

Luke Hedley - Physiotherapy

Luke Hedley

Luke graduated from St Mary's University in 2001, with a degree in Sports Rehabilitation. Since then, he has gained experience working in various different sporting settings including rugby and rowing. He also has over 7 years experience as a hydrotherapist working closely with patients of all ages and abilities, to achieve their rehabilitation goals. In 2008, he gained a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Hertfordshire. Luke has worked for the NHS as well as Private Practices in the UK.

Luke also has post-graduate qualifications in Acupuncture for pain relief.

Rebecca Chan - Physiotherapy

Rebecca Chan

Rebecca has a degree in Physical and Health Education at the University of Western Australia. She then went on to train as a physiotherapist completing her training at Curtin University in Western Australia graduating in 2004 as a physiotherapist. In 2007 Rebecca embarked on an extensive journey into the study of the Pilates method. She completed her training with both Polestar Pilates and Pilates International. She is now a certified Polestar Pilates Practitioner in both Rehabilitation and Mat and holds a Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction. In 2009 she also completed her Masters degree in the specialized field of Manual Therapy at the University of Western Australia.

Her passion and expertise lies in the area of movement re-education and functional rehabilitation through the unique combination of physiotherapy techniques and Pilates exercises.

Jo Coulter - Physiotherapy

Jo Coulter

Jo graduated as a Physiotherapist from Curtin University in Western Australia in 1999 with Honours. She has worked in Musculo-skeletal Private Practice in Australia and the UK. She has worked and managed a leading London Practice.

Jo completed her Masters degree in Manual Therapy in 2006 and received a high distinction and was awarded the Karim Khan prize for rehabilitation science. She has post graduate qualifications in manipulation, Acupuncture for Pan relief, dry needling and Clinical Pilates. Her special interests are management of spine and pelvic disorders. She is also qualified in the management of headaches and TMJ (jaw) conditions.

Jo has returned to practice at Bodies under Construction following the birth of her second child.

Rebbecca Harris - Physiotherapy

Rebbecca Harris

Rebecca graduated in 2000 with a first class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University. She worked in the NHS for five years, where decided to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

In 2006 she completed her MSc at University College London, in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and became a member of the Manual Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). She uses soft tissue release techniques, joint mobilisation/manipulation, dry needling and exercise therapy. Rebecca has completed her Pilates Matwork and Equipment training through the APPI Method. Rebecca enjoys working with her patients to uncover the underlying causes and find each individual's key to achieving their optimal potential. She has worked with high-level runners, tri-athletes and tennis players. Special areas of interest include spinal dysfunctions, shoulder problems and analysing/correcting muscle imbalances.

Alison Dalziel - Sports Massage

Alison Dalziel

Alison is a fully qualified and highly experienced massage therapist with over fifteen years of experience. She specialises in sports and remedial massage. She uses these techniques to treat minor soft tissue injuries by helping to release excessive muscular tension, break down scar tissue and adhesions caused by stress or trauma and improve circulation. This can offer a remedy for pain and dysfunction caused by life stresses including postural, occupational and emotional stress. Alison has a professional approach and can tailor the treatment to the individual according to their specific requirements. She has worked alongside Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and doctors in Asia, Spain and the UK.

Fleur Borreli - Nutritional Therapy

Fleur Borreli

Fleur has a degree in Nutritional Medicine which focuses on improving physiological function. Fleur offers a personalised natural medicine which works towards the prevention of serious chronic disease and its underlying causes. It also promotes peak performance and vitality.

The in-clinic programme she uses is called First Line Therapy which is a clinically proven 'first line of therapy' designed to attack the underlying causes of disease and improve overall health. Fleur specialises in weight management, female health conditions and functional sports nutrition for performance and recovery.

Bhavini Mistry - Physiotherapy

Bhavini Mistry

Bhavini graduated in 2005 from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying she has worked in the NHS within the Manchester areas, followed by an opportunity that took her to Salisbury and finally her last location of working in London. Bhavini has worked in London since 2007, where she completed her rotational posts at a major teaching hospital and she has gained a wealth of experience in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions.

In 2010, Bhavini joined the private practice team at The Putney Clinic, working alongside Osteopaths and massage therapists.

Bhavini has trained in the APPI Modified Pilates method, Acupuncture and dry needling techniques.

Andrea Yeboah - Women's Health Physiotherapist

Andrea Yeboah

Andrea graduated from Brunel University in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Early on in her career she chose to specialise in Women's Health and went on to study for a postgraduate certificate Physiotherapy in Women's Health. Andrea has worked at three major London teaching hospitals in the field of Women's Health and also has experience working in the private sector. Her special interests are ante and postnatal back pain, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor dysfunction including bladder and bowel incontinence and pelvic organ pro-lapse.

As well as her physiotherapy qualification Andrea also teaches ante and postnatal Pilates and prenatal yoga and she is therefore well placed to advise you or refer you for either of these forms of exercise.
